Amsterdam | Reflections

Part II

When I set out to capture glimpses of the Amsterdam city, I had two thoughts flowing in my mind. One. To capture the Canals lit in the late evening. After the photo shoot, end result was pretty much satisfying. Two. To capture the great architecture of Rijksmuseum and Royal Palace on water. In fact, I also found water sources nearby so as to get the reflections right on them. But, perhaps Amsterdam was not happy with my idea.

Unfortunately, both the big attractions were completely covered from outside for restoration work. All I got to witness were those big iron boards with lot of decorative spray work from the creative people of Amsterdam city. However, its not anything new in Europe these days. Most of the famous monuments and ancient buildings are undergoing repair and restoration, including Eiffel.
